Featured stories for January

Theme is "best of 2010," or stories that were first posted on Luna or other sites within the past year.

RULES.

WHAT YOU DO:

-You cannot nominate your own story for featured.
-Only nominate one story.
-If an author has written something that has already been nominated for this coming month, please don't nominate one of their stories again.
-If a story has already been a featured story in the past, do not nominate it again.
-If you nominate, please make sure to include the author's name, and the category/link to the story itself will save me trouble later~

WHAT HAPPENS AFTERWARD:

-Nominations will be open all month. At the end of the month, six submissions will be drawn out of a (metaphorical and probably virtual) hat and those will be the featured stories.
-There will be no more than one featured story from a given category every month. For example, if the first story drawn from the metaphorical, virtual hat is a Naruto fanfiction, all other nominated Naruto stories are removed from the remaining pool of entries... if that makes sense. "Original" counts as one category.

As much as I appreciate the nomination, Rei, I'm afraid I must respectfully decline. Project V was first posted to the 'net in 2006 - though it just made it over here to Luna this year. Pretty sure that disqualifies it as being a part of the "Best of 2010."

@Tsula: That story has already been nominated in the comments of the announcements. Twice times, in fact, three times for the same author. Despite me pointing out that someone can only be nominated once and further proving that no one reads the comments, argh.

I thought stories could only be nominated here, as you have asked people to only do so here. Hence why I didn't check specifically in the announcements for that. My apologies, but I didn't know that you were allowing nominations in there now.

If you didn't realize that, it's fine. Just that it seems like Information Desk/The Archive/Nominations sections of the forums can't be accessed if you don't have an account (so no more anonymous nominations), and there's a bug with forum sign-up right now, so I opened it on the announcements too. I prefer people nominating here because it's where things are fully explained, so... yeah.
